--- CHEATSHEET YOUTUBE-DL

1) How to install it:
sudo apt-get install youtube-dl
sudo apt-get install ffmpeg #for mp3 conversion

2) How to use it:
youtube-dl <url>

#Get only mp3 file from youtube:
youtube-dl --extract-audio --audio-format mp3 <video URL>

#Get mp4 video file from youtube:
(supported video format are mp4|flv|ogg|webm|mkv|avi)

youtube-dl --recode-video mp4 <video URL>

##HOW TO INSTALL YOUTUBE-DL

go to : http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/main/y/youtube-dl/

Download .deb file 

sudo dpkg -i youtube-dl_2021.06.06-1_all.deb

To list the available formats type:

youtube-dl -F url

Then you can choose to download a certain format-type by entering the number for the format code (in the sample below 11):

youtube-dl -f 11 url
